When I think of retro my mind is instantly filled with polka dots, bandanas, winged liner, red lips and anything with the same kind of vibe as the film Grease. Due to having recently created a classic beauty look (#BeautiesOnFire – As Heavenly as Hepburn?) I figured I’d simply share some of my favourite retro fashion looks with you today, alongside my current pretty polka dot nails.

For these I firstly prepared my nails using the Model’s Own 4 in 1 nail block, I then applied a coat of Stargazer Black 129 and completed them with Model’s Own Microdots. I decided to skip using a top coat this time although I do recommend that a top coat be used for the overall durability and shine. I’m rather enjoying these, they remind me of Pacman, coincidentally, something else retro!

As always be sure to check out Everything&Nothin’ for everyone else’s retro posts. What are your favourite retro looks?

With Love,
Disaster Davis x
