I absolutely adore everything to do with fall, it’s quite possibly my favourite season, so to be doing today’s theme at this time of year feels like perfection to me. I really wanted to do something a little different today and include nature itself in my completed beauty look. So I took to the great outdoors and you can find the results and the list of products and items I used below.

How to appreciate the beauty of fall you ask? Well, below are some of my personal favourite reasons to do just that…

Fall fashion and getting snug in cosy clothing
Warm drinks such as different teas or hot chocolate (obviously with marshmallows)
Reading a good book curled up in front of a fire (if you don’t have one you can pretend)
Fairy lights, for some reason Autumn and Winter are the BEST time to hang pretty lights
Fluffy throws, such as the one in my recent monthly favourites post
Seasonal celebrations such as Halloween and the run up to Christmas
Being warm indoors when there’s storms or it’s snowing outside
Autumnal colours such as orange, green and berry shades
The changes to nature, leaves changing colour, crunching fallen leaves beneath my feet, I love walks at this time of year
Sales! I wouldn’t be a true beauty and fashion blogger if I didn’t get excited by the abundance of bargains going down at this time of year!
Films, this is the time of year that were tailor made for watching movies!
Eating anything and everything, Christmas party snacks are especially the best!
Perfect to mention right now, the Christmas countdown and advent calendars, these get me way too excited, especially since I have three this year! Yes, I’m spoilt ha ha!
Spending time with loved ones, for some reason it seems that we spend more time with others at this time of year, probably because of the continual holidays and celebrations.
The year coming to a close, thus reflecting on everything that’s happened and preparing for a fresh start in the coming year.

Please do check out the other’s take on this weeks theme, you can find the link up over on Beth’s blog. Leave me a comment below, I’d love to know what your favourite things are about this time of year and what it is you appreciate the most within nature around us. Who used to collect conkers during their childhood then have conker battles with them? Oh those were the days, back when we were all young enough to go trick or treating and to still believe in Santa. • Thank you so much beautiful! Ha ha I actually really like this one myself too, I had no idea what I were going to do with it until I did it, I just picked up a load of random bits of nature at the park today and went with it. Oh definitely, I want to eat everything but I’m at a wedding in March so I need to be kinda well behaved hahaha! It’s that, or I won’t fit in my damn dress haha! 😛

  1. I love it doll!! The leafs you used for a hair piece and the ones you drew on your cheek! I feel like you made the transition from summer to autumn 🙂 well done 🙂

And all those suggestions are great! I’m totally gonna watch a specific set of movies this month lol. And I would really like snow even though it’s freezing cold. I want my son to enjoy it lol.

    • Thank you so much chick! The leaves were a total pain haha, they kept moving and falling off of my head, I did attempt to use liquid latex to stick them to one another but I just managed to get it in my hair instead hahaha oops!

Don’t you often get snow where you are? I bet he’d love it! When I were you I’d take my Barbies out to play in the garden when it had snowed, I loved it ha ha! I hate spoili

      • Don’t you love those moments when something doesn’t work in your favor? Haha. Bloggers moments haha. I do like the creative though. You literally used nature lol.
And this part of the country typically gets snow, but weirdly, never in the town I live in. Always just around the town lol.

      • Oh totally lol, planning something cool in your mind for it to go bottoms up hahaha! At least all of these little things push us into finding alternative methods and build on our problem solving abilities hahaha!
