I thought I’d take a bit of a different approach with this week’s look, so rather than my usual focus on beauty I will instead be sharing a slight change in my hair! For years I’ve had a side fringe together with my side parting, I feel like this is what suits me the most, although often I will let my fringe grow out so much to the point where I basically no longer have one. I’m not sure why I do this because it’s not as though I go to the hairdressers, I’m just world class at procrastinating, obviously. So, for the new year I felt it were about time to get out the scissors and get snipping!

The benefits of being your own hairdresser
1. It’s free.
2. You don’t require an appointment.
3. If you don’t like the end result you only have yourself to blame.
4. There’s no need to get dressed, leave the house, or see other people.
5. It takes a lot less time. Have you ever noticed that a simple cut in a salon seems to take them forever to complete when it’s literally a less than one minute job?
6. It gets done how you ACTUALLY want it!
7. I don’t know about anyone else, but when I get it just right I feel a ridiculously vast amount of pride.

Be sure to head over onto Beth’s blog where you can check out the other girl’s fresh looks for 2017! Do you cut your own hair or would you consider doing? If not, what is it that stops you? If you’d like more details on exactly how I cut my own fringe or trim my mop then don’t hesitate to ask, I love chatting to you!
